In October, AMS will be hosting two events in conjunction with the Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers. The first event will be a workshop designed to provide basic information about becoming a professional engineer, including a review of typical application errors, the importance of work experience and references, and the use of reference materials and prep courses. This workshop will be held Tuesday, October 16 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.
The second event is part of series of lectures on advanced technologies including drones, 3-D design software, and 3-D printing. The series will kickoff on October 16 with a lecture on drones given by Garrett Foster of Parham Engineering. This one-hour lecture will begin at noon. Registration for this event is $5 and will be limited to the first 40 registered attendees. Lunch will be provided at the beginning of the lecture.
