Renovations at AMS Headquarters are complete
The most recent construction project at Analysis and Measurement Services Corporation (AMS) headquarters in Knoxville, TN has been completed. Last year, AMS started renovating its original “Building A” to create more office space. The lower floor has been transformed into an open-concept office space with multiple collaborative meeting spaces, individual developer offices, and a systems development laboratory. The project cost nearly $2 million, was designed by Barber McMurry Architects, and was constructed by Denark.
Our Hardware and Software teams are already enjoying the space. Sam Caylor, the Systems Development Manager at AMS, said, “This new space has allowed the integration of the AMS Hardware and Software teams into a single collaborative space, which has already dramatically improved how we are able to communicate with one another and the speed at which we are able to tackle new challenges.”
This isn’t the first major renovation that has taken place at AMS. The company started at this location in 1988 with just one building and has expanded over the years to include three buildings, which span over 100,000 square feet of office space, laboratory, and additional expansion space. AMS developed its training facility in 2008, and additional laboratory, office space, and land for expansion were purchased in 2011 and 2017.
We are so excited about our most recent renovation and hope you tour the new space the next time you are at AMS!
