Employee Spotlight: Pat Foust - 30 Years
AMS congratulates Pat Foust as she celebrates her 30-year anniversary with the company!
Pat is currently the Administrative Accountant for Dr. Hashemian, but she has worn many hats during her time at AMS. When she first started at AMS, she worked for the Operations Manager. Overtime she became the Personal Secretary to Dr. Hashemian and the AMS Accountant before eventually taking on her current role of the last ten years, Dr. Hashemian’s Personal Accountant.
Pat was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland in a small town named Dundalk. She had two loving parents and grew up with two brothers: Junior and Ron. Prior to working at AMS, Pat worked for the Department of the Army, Korean Military Advisory Group in Seoul, Korea. She also worked for West Point Academy in New York and owned her own business for about ten years before deciding to move her children to Tennessee where they would be closer to family.
Once in Tennessee, Pat worked with a temp agency and was placed in the Engineering Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. However, one of her friends told her about a company in Knoxville that was in desperate need of secretaries. Thinking that it’d be a perfect fit, she interviewed for the position, was hired two weeks later, and has been at AMS ever since.
When she isn’t working to help the company run smoothly, she loves spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family means the world to Pat, and she adores her two grandchildren and five great grandchildren and spends as much time with them as she can.
Pat’s numerous contributions to AMS over the last 30 years have helped the company grow into what it is today. Not only is she a talented, hard worker, but she is also a kind soul who is always happy to help out a fellow co-worker with a smile on her face.
AMS wouldn’t be the same without you, Pat. Thank you for all that you do and congratulations on this milestone!
