Employee Spotlight: Jason Thomason

Jason Thomason is the Laboratory Supervisor at AMS, where he oversees the construction, repair, maintenance, calibrations, and upgrades of all Core testing equipment. In addition to these responsibilities, he regularly supports Field Services Testing. Jason’s journey at AMS began when he was hired as an Electronics Technician, a role from which he was later promoted to Laboratory Supervisor. One of his many achievements during his time at AMS is reaching 1 Million Miler status with Delta, reflecting his dedication and frequent travels for the company.

Before joining AMS, Jason worked as an Electronics Technician at MTS Nano Instruments. There, he constructed specialized test equipment used to measure the hardness of materials at the nano level.

On the personal side, Jason has been married to his wife, Amy, for 25 years. Together, they have a 21-year-old daughter, Haley, and a 16-year-old Shih Tzu named Melody. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly camping and relaxing on the lake with his family.

Born and raised in Sevierville, TN, Jason graduated from Sevier County High School in 1994 and has since remained close to home.
