Employee Spotlight: Allyson Pearce

AMS congratulates Allyson Pearce as she celebrates her 5-year anniversary with the company!

Allyson is the Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant Manager at AMS. Most of her role revolves around maintaining AMS’s nuclear quality assurance program – handling audits and supplier evaluations, reviewing contracts, reviewing QA requirements in customer reports, QA related purchasing, revising procedures, etc. Over the past year, she has also taken on a lot of human resources (HR) related responsibilities including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. She also works closely with the company president to develop policies and organize fun events for the company.

She was born and raised about an hour from Knoxville in Cleveland, TN. Allyson graduated from Tennessee Technological University where she met her Husband, Connor. After graduation, the couple moved to Knoxville, and she has loved living here over the past few years! Prior to working at AMS, Allyson worked as an Associate District Manager for ADP. She sold and supported payroll and HR services to clients in the Cleveland/Athens, TN area.

Family is the most important thing in the world to Allyson. She’s really close with her family and is so thankful that she has the best support system. She and her husband will be celebrating their 4-year anniversary in April, and will be welcoming their first child, a baby boy, in May. They also have a 3-year-old long-haired dachshund named Ridley who has the biggest personality and is the sweetest dog you will ever meet!

In her free time, Allyson loves to be outside, spend time with her family, garden, and hang out with friends. She is also a huge fan of the two-time national championship Georgia Bulldogs (Go Dawgs!) and their Saturdays in the Fall pretty much revolve around college football. Allyson and Connor also love their church and teach Sunday school to K-5th graders every week.

Over the last five years, Allyson has been an integral part to the success of AMS. Not only does she wear several hats at the company, but she is also always happy to help anyone who needs it and does it with a smile on her face. AMS wouldn’t be the same with you, Allyson.
