AMS President Dr. Hash Hashemian Receives Presidential Citation from the American Nuclear Society
Analysis and Measurement Services Corporation (AMS) President, Dr. Hash Hashemian, has received the Presidential Citation of the American Nuclear Society. This award is given each year by the President of the society to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding effort to benefit the society and the nuclear energy community.
The citation was presented to Dr. Hashemian on June 14th during the 2022 American Nuclear Society Annual Meeting held in Anaheim, CA. The citation reads, “Presented to Dr. H. M. ‘Hash’ Hashemian for his many and varied contributions to the American Nuclear Society, including his service as Chairman of the Honors and Awards Committee.”
The society leadership has asked Dr. Hashemian to serve another term as Chairman of the American Nuclear Society Honors and Awards Committee and to continue as the Vice Chair of the Development Committee.
When asked about the Presidential Citation, Dr. Hashemian said, “It is an honor to receive the Presidential Citation and continue to serve as the Chair of the Honors and Awards Committee of the American Nuclear Society and the Co-Chair of its Development Committee.”
