Employee Spotlight: Elijah Connatser - 5 Years
AMS congratulates Elijah Connatser as he celebrates his five-year anniversary with the company!
Elijah is an Electrical Engineer at AMS. His role primarily involves field testing instrumentation and control (I&C) systems at commercial nuclear power plants. He provides detailed assessments and diagnoses issues that would affect normal operation of these crucial systems.
When not in the field, Elijah assists our Cable group by providing data analysis and field recommendations of cable circuits to worldwide partners and customers as part of technical service agreements and works in the AMS laboratory repairing CHAR systems.
Elijah was born and raised in the Knoxville area. When asked about his connection to Knoxville, he said, “Out of all the places I’ve traveled to in my time at AMS, Knoxville is my favorite city by far, and I don’t ever see myself leaving.” Elijah attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where he earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and after graduating, he joined the AMS team.
Family and service are big components of Elijah’s life. He and his wife Julie both come from big families, and they spend a lot of time with their parents, siblings, cousins, and nieces and nephew. They also have a strong group of family friends at their local church where they are active members. The couple regularly volunteers with their church youth as next-gen leaders, camp counselors, and other serving roles. Elijah also enjoys staying active. He recently picked up pickleball and holds the highest DUPR rating at AMS!
Elijah is a tremendous asset to the AMS team. He is kind and always enthusiastic to help a colleague or serve a customer. When asked about his favorite part of working at AMS, Elijah said, “I enjoy traveling to different nuclear plants all over the world and getting the opportunity to interact with our customers face-to-face.”
Congratulations on this milestone, Elijah! We appreciate your service and dedication over these last five years and look forward to seeing all you will accomplish in the years to come.
