Employee Spotlight: Ryan O’Hagan

AMS congratulates Ryan O’Hagan as he celebrates his fifteen-year anniversary with the company!

As a member of the senior leadership team at AMS, Ryan is responsible for overseeing the marketing and business development operations of the company in the U.S. and abroad. He has the privilege of being responsible for a fantastic team of marketing and engineering professionals who work together to expand the implementation of AMS technologies for the benefit of the nuclear power industry while also ensuring that new projects are carried out on schedule and per customer specifications and requirements.

Ryan previously served as an Engineer for AMS and was then promoted to Engineering Project Manager before taking on his current role of Marketing Manager. Before joining AMS in 2009, Ryan spent several years working in high technology instrumentation and manufacturing industries.

Ryan was born and raised in California until age 16 when his family moved to Knoxville. His family moved back but he stayed to attend the University of Tennessee. While approaching graduation, he was about to go back home, but met a Knoxville girl instead. Rest is history. He and his wife of nearly 20 years have two growing boys, ages 15 and 12, and they are doing their best to soak up the precious years they have left with them at home.

When not with his family, you can find Ryan jumping around and lifting heavy things in his “happy place” garage gym, listening to podcasts or reading on business, personal development, and health, and shouting and rooting for the TN Vols football program and the San Francisco 49ers.

Ryan’s hard work and dedication to AMS have greatly benefited our customers and the nuclear industry. Thank you for 15 years, Ryan. AMS wouldn’t be what it is today without your contributions. Congratulations on this milestone!
