AMS Participates in the 2022 ANS Annual Meeting
AMS was happy to participate in the 2022 Annual Meeting of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) last week in Anaheim, California. The week-long conference brought together experts from the industry to discuss “The New Outlook” of nuclear. Historically, AMS employees are heavily involved in the society and in the two conferences that ANS hosts each year.
Here are some highlights from the 2022 ANS Annual Meeting:
Dr. Hashemian Awarded the ANS Presidential Citation
AMS President, Dr. Hash Hashemian, was awarded the ANS Presidential Citation. Each year, the President of the society may choose to present a Presidential Citation to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding effort to benefit the society and/or the nuclear community. This year, ANS President Steve Nesbit awarded the citation to Dr. Hashemian for his many and varied contributions to ANS, including his service as Chairman of the Honors and Awards (H&A) Committee.
