AMS recently participated in the 27th Meeting of the Technical Working Group on Nuclear Power Plant Instrumentation and Control in Vienna, Austria. This group works to provide the International Atomic Energy Agency with advice as to the I&C needs of the worldwide nuclear industry. It serves as a forum through which Member States of the IAEA can share information about current activities, issues, best practices, and strategies experienced within their country’s nuclear program. The group also provides the IAEA with specific advice and support in identifying issues that should be addressed within the program’s plan for the next five years. This year’s working group meeting included representatives from 15 member states.
