This award is given to an individual or group who has demonstrated sustained excellence in nuclear training and is awarded by the American Nuclear Society’s Education, Training, and Workforce Development Division’s Honors and Awards Committee.
AMS’ training programs provide technical and management personnel in utilities, vendors, government, national labs, and universities the opportunity to learn practical aspects of nuclear power plant instrumentation and the latest developments in I&C maintenance technologies.
The official presentation of the award will be made at the Opening Plenary of the American Nuclear Society’s Winter Meeting to be held at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC on November 9, 2015.
